The visualisation below contains information relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their contact with Victoria Police. The data covers the period from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2021 and includes data on alleged offenders, victims of crime, and parties involved in family violence incidents.

In addition to these visualisations, CSA has other data available relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and their contact with Victoria Police. Each quarterly publication has data relating to offender incidents which were allegedly committed by Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people and family incidents which involved Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people which can be accessed here.
Please note that the data presented in these visualisations will differ from the other data available from CSA, due to differences in the methodology used. As a result, comparisons between the two sources should be conducted with caution.
